Cette semaine Jaskier nous emmène dans le domaine très privée des Sorceleurs, la Forteresse secrète de Kaer Morhen. Pareil à lui même, Jaskier nous explique ce qu’a été autrefois cette forteresse, berceau des Sorceleurs et ce qu’elle est devenue, jusqu’à aujourd’hui…
Réjouis-toi, voyageur ! En effet, il est bon de te revoir, mais je dois avouer que j’avais presque oublié qu’il était temps pour nous de se revoir, mais c’est grâce à la bonne fortune que je peux me permettre de te rejoindre à temps pour notre rendez-vous. Tu vois, j’ai été incroyablement occupé, fort pris avec les femmes, mon harem de belles donzelles, qui aspirent à mon doux toucher et qui boivent chacun de mes mots et m’écoute avec passion… Hum hum, ou peut-être ai-je été enfermé dans un cachot au plus profond des montagnes de Kaedwen. Je ne peux pas me rappeler chaque petit détail de ma vie, n’est-ce pas ?…
…Kaer Morhen n’est plus que l’ombre de son passé. Elle a produit de nombreux Sorceleurs durant les temps troubles, lorsque des bêtes mutantes attaquaient des villageois insouciants et le besoin de former des tueurs de monstres était grand. Depuis les années du fameux massacre des non-humains, Kaer Morhen est devenue une terre désolée. Personne, hormis le valeureux vieux Vesemir, est resté pour la conserver, avec quelques Sorceleurs passants à l’occasion, histoire de regagner leur maison d’enfance. Si j’avais été soumis aux tests et expériences qu’ils ont subi, je ne suis pas sûr que je serais désireux d’y revenir vraiment ! …
…Il va s’en dire que Geralt réussi ces épreuves avec brio, et il a été récompensé physiquement… avec d’autres expériences, bien sûr ! C’est ce qui fait de lui le plus qualifié de tous les Sorceleurs, faisant l’admiration des autres Sorceleurs et le fléau des monstres de tout le pays.
Kaer Morhen est toujours debout. Elle détient toujours les secrets des Sorceleurs. J’ai entendu dire que Vesemir a même pris un nouvel élève sous son aile. Kaer Morhen pourrait-elle revenir à son ancienne gloire ? Encore une fois, c’est un conte pour un autre jour…

Rez de chaussée
 The Kitchen
The kitchen at the keep doesn't seem to get much action these days, other than the regular foraging of some of the four-legged residents of the keep. The large fireplace is still lit and something is bubbling away in a large pot, but my money would not be on gourmet fare. Another useful feature of the kitchen is that it leads to the staircase to the second floor of the fortress, and ultimately, Triss' room.
 Hall des Dîners
The dining hall is the largest chamber on the ground floor of Kaer Morhen. For a place with such an unassuming purpose, there is a lot of action which takes place within its confines. It is where Vesemir can be found for most of the Prologue (he does occasionally wander over to the kitchen). It is where Geralt usually learns about witchers, potions, meditating, and often where he gets his first set of armor and his witcher's sword. The battle against the mage, Savolla also takes place here.
Premier Etage
 Le Salon
The Evening hall is on the second floor of Kaer Morhen keep, on the north side at the east end of the main corridor. It is a large room, largely empty as is the rest of the fortress. Lambert tends to hang out there after the battle, despite the fact that Vesemir keeps saying he his in the Library. A large chest near the window contains some value ingredients.
 La Bibliothèque
The library at Kaer Morhen looks full of potentially useful books and scrolls, but sadly that potential is never fulfilled. The only thing found there is a few flasks of water. Located on the second floor of the keep, on the north side of the main corridor, it is still one of the nicer rooms at the fortress. It is usually devoid of any human activity, despite what Vesemir might say
 L'Armurerie
The armory is where Eskel can be found for a bit of sparring after the battle at Kaer Morhen keep. It is on the second floor of the fortress at the east end of the main corridor. There are still a number of weapons and training forms lying around from the old days, and several crates and chests with useful items.
 Hall Ouest
The West hall is another of the large, empty (or nearly empty) rooms on the second floor of Kaer Morhen keep. It does however have a crate which contains an interesting potions which might prove useful later. A cautious witcher wouldn't let an opportunity like that go to waste, now would he?
 Chambres
Triss' room is like being transported completely from the crumbling fortress to a luxurious alpine castle. I suppose a sorceress requires certain necessities of life. It boasts spectacular views of Kaer Morhen Valley in several directions and the best bed in Kaedwen apparently, the site of Geralt's first sexual encounter of the game. This last event starting things off rather nicely.

 Laboratoire des Sorceleurs
Le fameux laboratoire des Sorceleurs où sont gardés les plus importants secrets du château - plantes mutagènes, champignons hallucinogènes, stimulants naturels, ingrédients pour potions et elixirs. It is here that young apprentices were subjected to the incredibly painful Trial of the grasses, which only a few survived, gaining superhuman abilities in return.
 Whispering Stones
A Circle of Elements (also called an Elemental Circle), and not to be confused with a "Place of Power", is a place where magic is strong, enough for people to have erected monuments. Mages can draw power from the Circles of Elements, and witchers can learn new Signs, as well as getting a momentary boost for the spells they already know.
